Documents of interest to Members of the orchestra The following documents are posted on this site as resources for Members of the orchestra. The document of most obvious use to members is the Players Guide. This guide discusses things players need to know, such as concert dress, tuning, and concert protocol. The By-Laws of the Orchestra are a requirement of the Nova Scotia Societies Act. They outline the structure of the orchestra and define the rules governing membership, meetings and the fiscal year. The By-Laws also define the duties and powers of the Board of Directors and Officers of the orchestra.Other documents are under revision and will be posted on this site as resources for Members of the orchestra.
